Collaborating for better relationships with Fire, Food, and Country

Tender Fire’s mission is to help people manage land to come into more predictable, reciprocal, and beneficial relationships with fire, food systems, Traditional Custodians, and the wider living world.

Tender Fire strives to strengthen or re-establish relationships between humans and the living world. Not that long ago, our food system and our natural environment were one in the same, and it was made productive and diverse through creative and complex burning.

Whether or not you’re interested in the innovative uses of fire in growing food, we offer creative, individualized solutions to help you take steps towards a greater level of reciprocity with the land they live on.

Interested in what we stand for and want to learn more about partnering with us?

Tender fire is a very young organization. The work we are striving to do relies on connection, partnerships, relationships. We are looking for people who share our values and who are interested in potential partnerships. We are especially interested in people who are curious about returning fire to their land in safe and beneficial ways.
